As consequence of its expansion and growth, CIMNE found itself in need to create a Legal Area in order to give answer to all the legal issues that affect the daily management of the institution, and also the Public Procurement and public administration procedures that CIMNE, as a public body of the Catalan Government, must comply with.
Our main functions are:
- Answer legal enquiries from any of CIMNE’s Research or Administration Departments.
- Prepare and manage all CIMNE’s public call for tenders.
- Legal advice to CIMNE’s proposals in call for tenders from other bodies.
- Prepare and negotiate CIMNE’s agreements and contracts with other entities, clients and suppliers.
- Report to the Catalan Government control bodies.
- Manage any arising dispute and suits.
- Represent CIMNE’s interests in negotiations and meetings.
- Prepare CIMNE’s internal procedures.
